Save Newsmap

Newsmap, a heavily linked from all around the internet and has always had a really high number of daily hits. As of, November 15th 2007, Google decided to pull the plug on it by shutting down access to the parser used to scrape their HTML. Newsmap basically reads their site and takes all the bits needed to create a one screen visualization of all the news they themselves scrape from the rest of the internet. Blog Link. Now that was the bad news.

The good news is - Newsmap is back online and very healthy.

Pre-Diwali Vacation - Aurangabad

I had a small vacation after a long time. No - this time it was not a wildlife place, but to explore the 2 well known world heritage monuments - Ajanta & Ellora Caves - for the second time. I spent 4 days instead of 2 out there but still I feel was less. Check out some pics here. More to come soon.
